Well I'm finished knitting some skirts, I only have to sew the waistband and attach the elastic then they're finished. The green one I made for Kaat, I already made one for Ame and Kaat liked that one so I made this one for her. The red skirt I made for myself, and I was suprised to find out I really liked knitting on such small needles (US6/4mm) Normally I would get crazy, cause it takes so long.... But I watched a whole season of CSI Miami :-)
Today I tried out the pattern a wrote called Meursault, and I immediatly found a mistake, I wrote a c4b, k2 instead of a k2, c4b. Still I was impressed with myself I didn't made any other mistakes, at least for now :-) It was the first time I wrote a really difficult pattern, before I even knitted a thing (except of course the swatch), and I have to say I like it to write everything up before the knitting. This way I really test-knit, cause I just follow the pattern exactly, stitch by stitch, instead of doing it by heart what is what you're doing if you work from a few notes.

But I like the way it looks, I'm making it in Rowan Cash Soft Aran and that is such a yummie yarn, with an excellent stitch definition. Well I'm going to knit something :-)
