Het heeft even geduurd maar we hebben een positief advies gekregen vanuit het Regionaal Diagnostisch Team voor de aanvraag van de rugzak voor Stijn. De spullen worden nu door gestuurd naar de commissie en als alles goed gaat hebben we ergens halverwege februari de indicatie voor cluster 2..... Zowel wij als Stijn zijn blij dat er eindelijk schot in de zaak zit. Hij is veel rustiger geworden sinds hij weet dat hij straks naar speciaal onderwijs gaat. Hij vind het fijn dat hij daadelijk maar met maximaal 12 kindjes in de klas zit, al was er wel even de vraag hoe dat het zit met de verjaardagen...lol. Hij blijft natuurlijk wel een snoepkont :-)

En deze foto moest ik gewoon even laten zien. hij zit sinds kort bij atletiek en hij loopt ook al mee in de cross competitie. Hoezo neemt hij alles letterlijk? Voor de start had ik tegen hem gezegd: Stijn concentreer je maar op het uitrennen van de cross, niet gaan wandelen maar blijven rennen. Hij komt als laatste over de finish met een grote smile: mam, ik heb geen enkele keer gewandelt! Goed zo Stijn, en ben je moe? Nee hoor mam, ik had nog veel harder kunnen rennen. LOL de volgende keer ook maar het wedstrijdelement uitleggen ;-)

It took some time but we finally have a positive advice from the diagnostic team for the special school aplication for Stijn. All of the papers are now send to the committee and if everything is going right we will get the aproval halfway February..... We're all glad that there is finally some progress. Stijn is much calmer since he knows that he will go to a special school. He likes it that there are no more then 12 children in his classroom, though he had some questions about celebrating birthdays.....lol He likes his candy :-)

This is a pic I just had to show you. He's a member of the atletic club since October, and he also joined the cross competition. So he takes things literally? at the start of this cross I told him to just concentrate on running this race, keep on running, don't walk. He's the last to finish, with a big smile on his face. Mam, I kept running, I didn't walk! Well done Stijn, are you tired? No mam, I could have runned much faster....LOL Next time I need to explain the competition element :-)
