Tintaglia is a perfect shawl for the summer. The body is worked in an easy and fast, but attractive, lace pattern. To complement the body, the border is worked in a true lace pattern that evolves into a picot edging. The shaping makes sure it will stay on your shoulders.

Yarn: 436yds/400m fingering weight yarn. Sample is shown in Blue Faced Leicester from Easy Knits. (100% BFL) Color: Swamp Thing
Needles: 1 US 5/3.75 mm circular of length 40 in/100 cm.
Crochet hook: US F/3.75 mm or larger for provisional cast on Markers: if desired
Gauge: 18 sts and 20 rows = 4 in /10 cm in pattern stitch.

Directions are given for 1 size: 44 in/112 cm wide and 22 in/56 cm long at center.
